Vanu Rangers

It all started in Planetside.

An old outfit in Planetside (outfits are essentially guilds in the world of Planetside) was dying and from it the Vanu Rangers rose from the ashes to form a new outfit. This new outfit had higher standards for its members and set forth an SOP that guided its operations - both administrative and tactical operations. From that day forward, a brotherhood was formed. The Vanu Rangers brought motivated and skilled players together to work towards a common goal. Through this cohesion, a high level of camaraderie was formed along with a high level of esprit de corps (morale for the uninformed). With this, a level and enjoyable playing field was established for all members. It became more than a group within a video game, it became the seeds for long lasting friendships and memories of glorious and perhaps hilarious events that occurred in the world of Planetside.

Planetside... sort of... fell apart. Players were leaving due to several factors. Many of the members of the Vanu Rangers went their separate ways but we always managed to stay in touch with each other. The fire is still strong. The values that the Vanu Rangers set forth still breathe with life.

Many of the members went onto other games and went on to form guilds within those games that were similar in characteristics to the Vanu Rangers in Planetside.

But the core of the Vanu Rangers remains strong. Always ready for a challenge and standing fast for the next game on the horizon in which we can spread our wings!
