Vanu Rangers

The Vanu Rangers are an unconventional Vanu Sovereignty outfit in the universe of Planetside. Specializing in unconventional warfare, the Vanu Rangers have always brought the fight to the enemy or behind them. Their primary mission is to provide support to the main effort to ensure a faster rate of base capture.

The Vanu Rangers employ a variety of strategies during their operations that can range from strategic tower holds, base drains, generator holds, rapid ghost hacking and even psychological warfare. We utilize nearly every piece of hardware that Planetside has to offer and often in ways that the average player would never think of.

We have always pushed the envelop in small-unit tactics, operating much like a US Army Ranger unit with supporting air wings. The Vanu Rangers have developed coveted tactics such as a method to allow aircraft to engage targets outside of their view distance with precision and speed galaxy drops.
