I picked it up again and instead of just doing one line of quests, I plan to do them all.
I've poured 20 hours into the game over the past 2 weeks - far more time invested than in any other game while I've been deployed. I started out as a stealth-orientated character, as usual, and I'm halfway done with the Dark Brotherhood series of quests and I've started the Thieve's Guild line of quests, although just so I could loot my Dark Brotherhood victims of their belongings and sell them to a fence.
I kind of wish that Oblivion had a multiplayer capacity. Not MMO, just a few other players, much like Diablo II. I think it could add to the fun, although it would probably limit the capabilities of the game.
I plan on fully completing Oblivion while I'm here - every quest, every dungeon. Once that is done, if I finish during deployment, I will purchase Fallout 3 via Steam and start working on that.
Haha! Totally.
I have since completed the Dark Brotherhood quest line and am looking for more ways to assassinate people. There's something about stalking a mark, then creeping around to kill him/her.
"although just so I could loot my Dark Brotherhood victims of their belongings and sell them to a fence." That is the only real reason you need, isn't it?
