That's right! It launched!
A few of the Vanu Rangers are playing it. Check the forums for information to link up with them.
Here it is, Beta 4 of the Goldeneye Source mod. You'll need Steam installed and you will have to have the Source SDK installed via Steam. The Source SDK requires that you own a Source Engine game.
Today brings us the 13th free expansion for Eve Online. The primary highlight is the introduction of planetary interaction.
So far it appears that this branch into planetary interaction will bring manufacturing and planetary mining initially. There is some speculation that it is also the beginning of tie ins to the up-and-coming Dust 514 which will feature planetary combat and ties into Eve Online.

Sony Online Entertainment added something to the PlanetSide site this evening with no fanfare or announcements of any sort: a countdown clock and a comic. The countdown clock currently sits at 18 days, 6 hours, and a whole bunch of minutes, seconds, and milliseconds. The comic is set "in a secret laboratory high above the mountains of Searhus" and features the familiar Big Red Button in the last panel.

A feature that this site should have had but hasn't has finally been added!
You can now add contact information to your account! Yippee!

We've made the switch to Teamspeak 3. Teamspeak 3 brings a lot of new features including file transfers and storage, much easier permissions, no user registration required, and much more.
Please note that we have a different connect address, for the time being.
You can connect using the address of 8.9.36.132 port 9161 or you can click "Join this server" on the block on the right hand of any page of this website.
Many of us have been keeping an eye on Dust 514 for a while now.
I've finally taken the time to create an ingame group for Dust 514 and a forum for it here so that we can discuss it.
If you haven't noticed, look to the right-hand side of the website. There you will find an ugly looking block that shows the status of the Vanu Rangers' new Ventrilo server.
We decided it might be best to have one, since we have in the past and it was the center of the social interactions between the members of the Vanu Rangers. VR veterans will remember what I speak of, probably releasing a small giggle when remember times past.
Anyway, the server information can be found on the block or within this forum post.
If you don't already have the Ventrilo 3.x client, you can download it here.
Enjoy!
