Vanu Rangers

Last night I spent my time in Planetside assaulting the Interlink Facility Zal from the western tower. The TR had come in and taken Zal pretty quickly due to lacking defensive fighters on our side and the NC quickly came in and took Rashnu and Sraosha, the other two facilities on Ascension, creating a 3-way fight with the TR in the middle.

The VS had limited forces and resources, so most of what we did was infantry work. I linked up with some members of GoTR who were doing the same. We made pushes, on foot, to the back door of Zal. While we were highly unsuccessful, the TR took quite a while to stop us each time, even when they sent vehicles and aircraft as us. There were only 3 to 5 of us at any given time but we used teamwork and coordination as a force multiplier. We stayed together and supported each other with covering fires and healed each other as needed.

Zanto and Lima of GoTR invited me onto their Teamspeak server for added coordination and it really helped. Thanks, fellas!

We shifted focus and did a gen hold on Rashnu which lasted about 10 minutes until they rushed us with MAX units, scattercannons specifically, and mowed us all down. There's really not much a small team of softies can do when rushed by scatMAXes in close quarters, but we did our best.

I eventually had to log, but at that point, the squad was full of players, mostly from GoTR, that were on Teamspeak working together. Thank you all for the great night!
